Fallen love (2021)

Acrylic colors on canvas, 40×60 cm

Once upon a time, there was a girl who fell in love with a bat. The bat loved her in his own way, leading them to commit many sins in the name of their ‘love.’ This painting captures their final scene before they tragically parted ways – she died. Surrounding them are nine windows, each offering a choice between heaven and hell. However, the tantalizing apple the bat sought was on the shelf leading to hell. If she followed him, allowing him to reach the apple, they would both end up in hell together. In her last moments, she chose death over following him down a path of toxicity. She is depicted without a head, symbolizing a woman’s decision to break free from a toxic relationship forever.
